These espresso cups fade from a sun-bleached yellow through to a pale sea green, and almost imperceptible stages in between - the colours of bright light and being outdoors.

The idea for this beaker was conceived after a feast of oysters - it seemed a shame to discard the delicate translucent shells, so I thought of a way to use the concept of the oyster shell in a way that would not be possible to use the actual shells for.
